The National Tariff Commission has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into crockery products originating in or exported from China. The investigation follows an application filed by a Pakistani manufacturer alleging that Chinese crockery is being sold at dumped prices and causing material injury to the domestic industry.
The dumping investigation period runs from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, while the injury assessment covers the three-year period beginning 1 April 2023. The investigation includes several Pakistan Customs Tariff headings covering different categories of crockery products.
Interested parties are required to register within ten days of publication of the notice and generally have 45 days to submit information, evidence and comments. A preliminary determination may be issued between 60 and 180 days after initiation, followed by a final determination within the statutory period after the preliminary findings.
