FBR has announced the transfer and posting of 80 Inland Revenue Service officers in Basic Pay Scales 18 to 20. The reshuffle covers FBR Headquarters, Large Taxpayers Offices, Corporate Tax Offices, Regional Tax Offices and specialized directorates across the country.
One of the prominent appointments is the transfer of Ms Farhat Qayum, a BS-20 officer, from FBR Headquarters to the position of Director General, Anti-Benami Initiatives, Islamabad. Several Chief Commissioners, Commissioners, Directors, Additional Commissioners and Secretaries have also been assigned new responsibilities.
Some officers have been given additional charge or look-after assignments to ensure continuity in administration. FBR has clarified that eligible officers already receiving performance allowance will continue to receive it at their new postings, while all transferred officers must promptly submit charge relinquishment and assumption reports.
