FBR has announced planned system maintenance from 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, 8 August 2026 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, 10 August 2026. During this period, several major tax systems will remain temporarily unavailable.
The affected services include IRIS, Digital Invoicing, the tax payment system, the Synchronized Withholding Administration and Payment System and Point-of-Sale registration. Taxpayers will therefore be unable to complete filings, payments, registrations or related transactions through these platforms during the maintenance window.
Businesses should complete time-sensitive compliance well before the shutdown, particularly where internal approvals, bank processing or digital-invoice transmission is involved. Waiting until the last working day may create avoidable filing, payment or invoice-reporting risks if the system becomes unavailable earlier than expected or takes additional time to resume fully.
